The IWBMC is a comprehensive model of care that supports and serves individuals who present neurobiological challenges such as full-spectrum autism, acquired brain injury, genetic syndromes, intellectual and developmental delays, and emotional/behavioral challenges. The Model includes in-depth evaluations that result in individualized programming based upon the foundations of neuroplasticity and scientifically based research interventions.
The NCBC's mission is to recognize all individuals who have met the established criteria in the IWBMC as a Provider or Evaluator and to ensure that the specified criteria are congruent with providing the highest quality of care to individuals who are neurodiverse and/or emotionally challenged. The NCBC evaluates (through examinations) and formally credentials individuals who meet entry-level standards required for IWBMC Providers and Evaluators.
