The IWBMC Provider and Evaluator Exams utilized robust psychometric methodologies and rigorous processes to ensure exams are fair, reliable, and valid in evaluating candidates' knowledge and skills. The information below provides details about how the IWBMC examinations were developed, including a summary of the Job Analysis Study. Current pass rates for each IWBMC exam are also included!

Current IWBMC Certificants are located throughout the United States, with the majority residing in the Georgia counties of Cobb, Fulton, and Cherokee. Individual IWBMC certificates also reside in the United Kingdom, Slovakia, and Bolivia. Additional information regarding the past years' IWBMC exams is provided below:
Seven (7) candidates completed the IWBMC-CE Examination in 2023.
Forty (40) candidates completed the IWBMC-CP Examination in 2023.
Thirty (30) candidates completed the IWBMC-CP Examination in 2024.

Candidates with complaints or feedback about the examination process or their experiences with virtual delivery may direct their comments in writing to the NCBC Executive Director, who will review the information and collaborate with the testing agency and NCBC Board if applicable. Candidates will be notified that their feedback was received and may be used to improve the examination process and ensure quality control. The Examination Appeals Policy intends to establish a sound and rigorous process and practice for handling appeals related to examination administration. If you did not pass the IWBMC examination and believe that testing irregularities or a violation of NCBC policies contributed to your scores, please thoroughly review your Candidate Handbook regarding the process of filing an appeal (including deadlines) and what to expect once you have filed. Please note that filing a complaint or appeal are two different processes, and both are outlined in Candidate Handbooks.
