Renew Your IWBMC Credential.

Re-certification for IWBMC Certificants

Ensure your IWBMC-CP and IWBMC-CE certifications stay active by renewing within two years of expiration. The Candidate Handbooks, found in the IWBMC-CP and IWBMC-CE sections, outline everything you need to know about CEU requirements and the re-certification process. Collect acceptable evidence to demonstrate participation in the three required areas: Hands-on, Field-related, and Personal Development. It is highly recommended that all materials (application, CEU evidence, and renewal fee) be submitted to the NCBC Board at least four weeks before the certification expiration date.

Review all material to be submitted: Completed application (available below), approved evidence for each required area, including completed and signed Supervised Observation forms available below. Supervisors must be listed as approved IWBMC Supervisors.

Submit

Submit completed application, collected evidence, and pay the $250.00 renewal fee. Once received, the NCBC Board will review all materials to ensure alignment with requirements. If all materials are complete, verified, and meet requirements, the NCBC board will issue a new certificate with an updated renewal date within fifteen (15) days of receiving the recertification materials.
