There are four paths to secure the related training requirement for the IWBMC-CP and IWBMC-CE credentials. The following information provides details for each route, and give specific options for meeting the Related Training requirements via Route D. This information is also provided in Candidate Handbooks
Although the National Council for Board Certification requires the candidate to complete related training in order to be eligible for certification, the NCBC does not require training to be completed from a specific training provider, nor does the NCBC develop training on its own. The candidate is responsible for finding the training provider, and the NCBC does not endorse specific providers. The list provided is for reference.

OVERVIEW
Individuals certified as IWBMC-CP or IWBMC-CE are permitted to host trainings on the principles of the IWBMC. To be eligible to provide training, individuals must have maintained current IWBMC-CP/CE certification for at least 18 months. Once this criterion has been obtained, they can submit a Trainer Request application, which will confirm eligibility and provide guidelines on the elements to include in training. There is no fee associated with this, and the application serves as a mechanism to monitor the eligibility components. Certificants who host training will be paid directly by the training participants.

Candidates are provided a comprehensive list of trainings (below) aligned with key principles of the IWBMC. Candidates must meet the minimum requirement of training hours for each principle, aligning with the desired level of certification.
These trainings provided via the link below have been approved by a panel of SMEs and the hours for each principle are consistent with each of the training routes. One course may be used to cover multiple principles, as long as the hours completed align with the requirements.
Candidates may submit unlisted training courses to the NCBC for consideration. The NCBC Board will consult with a panel of SMEs to verify whether the training course is approved.
